The video Captain is a melancholy allegory of the science fiction genre of the late 1960s (especially the US television series Star Trek), and the never-realised utopian dream of a better world. . In the four sequential episodes we approach and withdraw from a papier-mâché planet on which Melhus-men of three different generations reflect on the decline of their world.
