I am an ICT professional who set out into the Free and Open Source world
10 years ago. I am one of the pioneers of the Free Software movement in
Uganda and have been advocating, deploying, supporting, training and
consulting on Free and Open Source software solutions in and outside
Uganda for a decade now. Over time, I have evolved into a general ICT
practitioner and my experience spans beyond just computer systems to
telecommunication and general ICT consulting. Being one of those that
have seen ICT evolve in Uganda from its very humble beginnings, I am a
keen follower and contributor to the various technological developments
that Uganda and Africa are embracing, e.g. as active member of the Free
Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa (FOSSFA).
